The Ritter R258 Oscillating Drawer Box Sander is designed for sanding drawer box components and other small parts used in furniture and cabinet manufacturing. The machine uses a vertical abrasive belt and large platen to provide consistent sanding support when finishing finger-jointed or dovetail drawer components.

The oscillating belt motion moves the abrasive surface vertically during operation, helping distribute belt wear while maintaining a consistent sanding surface. The adjustable front table allows positioning of drawer components and other small workpieces during sanding operations.

The machine includes a dust hood designed for connection to a compatible dust collection system. Adjustable controls and magnetic starters provide operational control while supporting continuous use in woodworking production environments.
