Dado Cutting Without the Compromise

The BMS.1600.IR Dado Edition supports dado stacks up to 3/4" wide using an 8" blade on a 1-3/16" arbor, delivering chip-free dado cuts for joinery, cabinet boxes, and shelving applications. Quick blade changes between the dado stack and standard 12" blade keep workflow moving without lengthy downtime between operations.

Serious Cutting Capacity

The 5HP main motor runs at 4,000 RPM and handles a maximum cutting height of 3-1/2" at 90° and 2-1/2" at 45°, with a max ripping capacity of 35-1/2" and a crosscut capacity of 63". The conical scoring motor at 1HP and 8,000 RPM ensures clean, tear-free cuts on veneered and melamine panels. The blade tilts up to 45° for bevel work across all cut types.

Built for the Production Shop

The 63" x 12" sliding table handles large panels with ease, and the crosscut fence adjusts from 48" closed to 80" open for maximum flexibility.
