Ritter R258 8" Oscillating Double Sided Edge Belt Sander

The Ritter R258 Single-Sided Oscillating Edge Belt Sander is designed for edge sanding and finishing operations commonly performed in furniture manufacturing and custom woodworking environments. The machine uses a vertical abrasive belt with a large steel platen to provide consistent backing support during sanding.

The platen assembly can be raised or lowered to allow operators to use multiple areas of the sanding belt during operation. This feature helps distribute wear along the belt while maintaining a stable sanding surface. The oscillating belt motion is adjustable and assists with even sanding across the workpiece edge.

The R258 includes an adjustable front table, magnetic controls, and an enclosed dust hood designed for connection to a compatible dust collection system. The machine frame is built for continuous shop use and supports a variety of edge sanding applications.
