Corner Rounding Built In
The CBC.PCR adds corner rounding capability to a fully loaded automatic edgebander, eliminating the need for a separate machine or manual finishing step. The end and corner rounding trimmer motor runs at 12,000 RPM, producing clean, consistent radius corners on every panel that passes through.
Diamond Cutter Pre-Milling for a Flawless Bond
Dual high-frequency pre-milling motors with diamond cutters run at 9,000 RPM to clean and square the panel edge before tape is applied, ensuring the tightest possible bond and a seamless finished appearance. All HF motors are controlled by independent electronic converters for precise, stable operation at each station.
XMELT Glue System, EVA and PUR Compatible
The Teflon-coated XMELT glue pot holds 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg) and is compatible with both EVA and PUR adhesives, giving the operator flexibility to choose the right adhesive for the application. An easy drainage system simplifies glue changes and routine maintenance. The recommended glue temperature range is 356°F to 410°F (180°C to 210°C).
C.A.S.S Cleaning Agent Spraying System
The built-in Cleaning Agent Spraying System helps maintain a clean glue joint and finished surface throughout production, reducing residue buildup and keeping the machine running at peak performance between maintenance intervals.
Conveyor Chain Feed for Consistent Results
The conveyor chain feed system moves panels through at 18 ft/min (5.5 m/min) with consistent pressure and control, handling panel thicknesses from 8mm to 50mm and edgebanding from 0.4mm to 3mm. Minimum panel width is 3" and minimum panel length is 7-7/8", with an extendable panel support rail reaching 103". Sound output is rated at 80 dB.
