California Air Tools 10020DC 2 HP 10 Gallon Oil-Free Air Compressor with 80% Air Dryer

The California Air Tools 10020DC is a 10 gallon air compressor designed for environments where reduced moisture in compressed air is beneficial. This model combines an oil-free dual piston compressor with an integrated aftercooler and desiccant air dryer to help lower moisture levels in the air supply before it reaches connected tools or equipment.

California Air Tools develops compressors that operate at lower motor speeds compared to many traditional shop compressors. The 10020DC uses a SP-series 2 HP motor running at approximately 1680 RPM. Lower rotational speeds help decrease operating noise and mechanical wear while maintaining consistent airflow for general shop and light industrial tasks.

The built-in air treatment system includes an aftercooler that lowers discharge air temperature and condenses moisture, followed by a desiccant drying stage containing activated alumina material. This drying stage is designed to remove a significant portion of remaining water vapor before the compressed air exits the system.

An Easy Start Valve is included to assist with startup conditions. By briefly releasing a small amount of air during motor start-up, the compressor reduces initial load on the motor and can improve starting reliability in colder operating conditions.

Air storage is provided by a horizontal 10 gallon steel tank designed for stable placement beneath workbenches or shelving. A wheel kit allows the compressor to be repositioned easily within a shop or workspace.
