The California Air Tools 10020HDCADC is a specialized 10 gallon air compressor designed for applications requiring dry, oil-free compressed air. This model combines a 2 HP oil-free dual piston compressor with an integrated aftercooler and desiccant drying system that reduces moisture content in the compressed air stream.

A SP-9421 2 HP motor drives the compressor pump at approximately 1680 RPM. Operating at a lower motor speed helps reduce operating noise while maintaining steady airflow for shop equipment and pneumatic tools.

The compressor incorporates an air treatment system consisting of an aftercooler, particulate filtration, and a desiccant air dryer cartridge. This system is designed to remove a high percentage of water vapor from the compressed air stream, helping improve air quality for moisture-sensitive equipment and finishing applications.

The replaceable spin-on dryer cartridge uses molecular sieve desiccant material designed to capture moisture from compressed air before it reaches downstream equipment. The cartridge is designed for periodic replacement depending on operating conditions.

This model also includes a factory-installed EZ-1 automatic drain valve which periodically releases moisture from the air tank. Combined with the drying system, the automatic drain helps maintain cleaner air storage while reducing manual maintenance.

The horizontal 10 gallon steel air tank provides stable air storage while allowing the compressor to fit beneath benches or shelving in shop environments.
