California Air Tools RD-91502 is a refrigerated air dryer designed to reduce moisture content in compressed air systems for general-purpose industrial use. The unit is configured to operate downstream of an air compressor to improve air quality before distribution to tools or equipment.

The system uses a refrigeration cycle with R134A refrigerant to cool incoming compressed air, allowing moisture to condense and separate from the airflow. The resulting pressure dew point range of 2°C to 10°C (35.6°F to 50°F) supports applications where moderate dryness is required.

With a rated flow capacity of 52.97 CFM and a working pressure range of 29 to 232 PSI, the dryer is compatible with a range of compressed air systems. The unit operates within ambient temperature conditions from -5°C to +60°C (23°F to 140°F).

The dryer is equipped with 3/4" NPT inlet and outlet ports for integration into standard air lines. Electrical operation is supplied by a 115V, single-phase connection with a power requirement of 0.5 kW.

For system integration, the dryer is typically installed after the compressor and before final point-of-use equipment. Pre-filtration may be required to remove particulates prior to entering the dryer, depending on compressor output conditions.
