Designed as an integrated compressed air system, the California Air Tools 20040DSPCADC combines air generation, moisture removal, and noise control within a single enclosed unit. This configuration is suited for indoor environments where dry air delivery and controlled sound levels are required.

Air compression is handled by two 2.0 HP motors operating at 1680 RPM, supporting consistent airflow while limiting vibration and mechanical wear. The oil-free dual piston pump design removes lubrication requirements and helps maintain clean compressed air output.

The system routes compressed air through an aftercooler to reduce temperature and condense moisture. Air then passes through a spin-on dryer cartridge containing molecular sieve desiccant, designed to further reduce moisture before it reaches connected tools or equipment.

A 20-gallon steel air tank provides stored air capacity for intermittent and continuous use. The system cycles automatically between pressure thresholds to maintain tank pressure during operation.

Moisture collected in the tank is managed by a factory-installed automatic drain valve with programmable timing, allowing adjustment of drain intervals based on operating conditions. A secondary manual drain valve is included for maintenance access.

The cabinet enclosure incorporates acoustic insulation and multiple ventilation fans to help regulate internal temperature during use. Access doors allow servicing of internal components, and caster wheels support repositioning within a workspace.
