California Air Tools 20040CAD 4.0 HP 20 Gallon Oil-Free Air Compressor with Auto Drain (220V)

The California Air Tools 20040CAD air compressor is configured with dual oil-free piston pumps, two 2.0 HP motors, and a 20 gallon horizontal air tank. An EZ-1 automatic drain system is included to periodically discharge condensation from the tank during operation.

Both motors operate at approximately 1680 RPM. This operating speed helps limit vibration and component wear while maintaining consistent air output for shop tools.

The oil-free pump design eliminates the need for lubrication, reducing routine service requirements and preventing oil carryover into the compressed air supply.

A factory-installed automatic drain valve cycles at set intervals to remove moisture collected inside the tank, reducing manual draining requirements. The horizontal tank design provides stored air capacity while maintaining a compact footprint for shop placement.
